| In the passenger compartment, passenger side behind the glove box. That's where it is on my 98. _________________ 98 Riv, 102K Miles, EBC, LS1 Ft.Calipers, STB, Addco Rr Sway Bar, 180* stat., SSAC Headers, HF Cat, 1.9's, 105# springs, MPS 3.4, DHP tuned by the Deekster.

bigriv0, Matt was saying the best place to get a FSM (Factory Service Manual) was from Ebay. Ebay motors to be exact. Look under Parts and Accessories then click on Manuals. Plug in your info and you will find a manual set (for your year, it consists of two books) used from anywhere between $20.00 and $50.00. If you don't see any right away for the right $$$ keep looking. A week from now you might see a "buy it now" for $25.00, then grab it. The FSM is 500% better than what you bought at the auto parts store. It's what the dealerships use and has the best info you can get. If you can afford it and you plan on keeping the car and doing all the work yourself then you can also subscribe to Alldatadiy.com. It has a lot of the exact same info yet also has tech data that the manual doesn't have or is presented better and easier to understand. I believe it also has all the Service Bulletins that the FSM does not have and are normally only available to the dealers. You can buy a subscription for your year car for either one year's access or for a little more money multiple year access. Having both the FSM and AllData is the best of both worlds. Even if your going to pay someone to do some of the work on your car it is beneficial to copy the data that a Mech needs from the FSM or download / print from All Data. If they bother to read it they have no excuse for not finding or fixing the problem. And the more you read about the Description and Operation (D&O) of the various systems on your car the more you can speak intelligently about a problem your having with a Technician and the more respect you'll get from them _________________ 98 Riv, 102K Miles, EBC, LS1 Ft.Calipers, STB, Addco Rr Sway Bar, 180* stat., SSAC Headers, HF Cat, 1.9's, 105# springs, MPS 3.4, DHP tuned by the Deekster.
