Yes I do. FI on the 455 right? I 've had the car to Englishtown, Atco, and Cecil County, as well as the BPG Nats in Salem. |

yeah that's us. I'm driving it to work tomorrow. FI 455 makes a nice commuter
We drove it to Kentucky a couple of times for the GSCA Nationals in Bowling Green. (Andy, listen up!) I also drove my '86 455 powered suburban to Bowling Green in '01._________________ '98 Buick Riviera; Gen V 3.25 pulley, N*, VS Cam, 180 stat, Custom PCM (Powrtuner), headers & HF cat , 42.5 lb inj. | My college car was a 70 Olds Toronado with the 455. It was not as fast as my friends 70 Buick Riviera GS. Was looking at getting a 3 year old Riviera, Toronado or Grand Prix. but the Toronado was the first good deal that I found. Flat front floorboard and drum speedometer were unique. Wish I had gotten a 66-67 Riviera GS. They still look good to me. The boatails were too new ($) back then. I really like them too. _________________ '99 Riviera Midnight Blue Pearl Alpine 9857 head unit with SWC and iPod cable. Alpine PDX-5 5ch amp. Alpine S 10" woofer in a custom box. | How do you guys get pictures into your posts? I've got a '71 boattail that's a little "different" that I'd love to show you all. Can't figure out how to copy and paste into these posts, though. |

Look in the FAQ section at the top of the page, it will show you how to get started.
here is one link: http://rivperformance.editboard.com/board-news-f2/image-size-code-please-use-it-t2496.htm
I just set up a photobucket account(just have to register) then copy and paste the link from there. After you get started its very easy.
You got to resize them also or AA will have to do it for you...

| Testing, testing. This is my first attempt to post pictures of my '71 Riviera salt flats racer from my newly created photobucket account. OK, it seems to work (so far). These pictures were taken last year (2007). For this year, I've removed the mirrors and lowered it another couple of inches. I'll try to get pictures before long. |

| The boattail is such a good looking street car and and even better looking saltflat express. Nice car! _________________ 98 Riv, 102K Miles, EBC, LS1 Ft.Calipers, STB, Addco Rr Sway Bar, 180* stat., SSAC Headers, HF Cat, 1.9's, 105# springs, MPS 3.4, DHP tuned by the Deekster.

| Thanks for the compliments, Rick & Bert. I agree - the '71 boattail is a class-act. And in a class of it's own (well, I guess the other two years of boattails shouldn't be excluded) I just finished writing a "book" in the "Welcome" forum in response to some who asked what it was like driving that baby at over 180 on the salt. My thread there is "Greetings everyone". Think maybe both you guys have been there already, but in case someone else is curious and hasn't. I've also got a couple other long-winded posts on there describing some of my personal recreational habits involving Rivieras!! HAH!! |
