I don't think anybody has paid $200.00 for a used Sway Bar.
The new Addco bars, that fit our cars are about $140.00 for the rear
and $200.00 for the front.
The Caddy STS bars are a larger diameter and work good but are a hollow tube.
If you want solid bar stock you have to get the Addco bars.

IIRC the rear is hollow (22mm) vs the solid 22mm of the addco , but the front is solid 30mm vs solid 32mm of the addco,.

I didn't know the front was solid.
In that case that is the way I'm going to go to save some money.
I've seen a few broken GM hollow ones lately on different vehicles at the shop I sometimes hang out at.
Mainly on heavy vehicles, on the front, and they tend to crack and break near where they attach to the end links.

Glad you like it. Swaybars make a dramatic improvement in the way a car handles. I was going to get STS front and rear swaybar from the junkyard but the cheapest quote I got was 105$ and 110$ respectively (I'm not kidding).
For people considering this upgrade, keep in mind the STS uses a hollow rear swaybar, so it is not as stiff as the addco bar.

I based my reply on this price lol

You can get NEW STS Sway Bars from Monsterpartsonline for about those prices.
Whoever got that quote for used was being robbed. Keep looking.
