| I think it is easiest to find the HVAC drain from the engine side of the firewall - look on the passenger side of the firewall behind and below the power steering pump.
Sounds like maybe a blocked drain - or 97RIVMANN had a problem where the grommet around the drain hose was dry rotted and cracked; might have to replace.

| yeah, I have 2 drains that both drain to the front of the car (one in each corner). I guess I should find some heavy wire and 'snake' them to make sure they're clear... but it seems like there would be visible moisture after a rain AND it seems like the "settled water" wouldn't be so 'one-sided'... but I'll check those as well, thanks. -brady _________________ My mom lied... three times a day and I'm still not blind. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1998 Pearl White and Peeling Riv Bone stock aside from initial FWI tinkerings |

| No, there is a third drain. There is one in each fender well and one where I indicated. The fender well drains are rarely blocked because of their size and construction.

| | I noticed lately that under my car I wasn't seeing the water drip from the evap drain and it got me thinking my drain was plugged. After running a sort of round brissle brush through the drain and blowing compressed air through it I think I resolved my problem. After running the a/c I have a nice puddle under the car. Now all I have to do is pull the passenger seat and peel back the carpet to air/dry it out. |

| Now here is the trick - if you have a garden sprayer you can extend the nozzle into the evap drain hole and spray in some (a cup or so) of the deodorizing/disinfectant solution I described in earlier post, this thread. Did mine last night (the pollen thing). I put car on ramps & went in from underneath.
