Doesn't matter, just plug it while you've got it off. It doesn't take long. I don't think I even had to jack up the car. _________________

| there is only so much fuel that will come out when you change it. it dont matter weather it is empty or full. when you finish turn the car key half way to let the fuel pump push more fuel into the lines. it will be fine. im changing mine friday. i like the fram ones. _________________ 98Riv: 3.4 press-on s/c pully,3.5" Tensioner Pulley,180 degree t-stat,AL104 plugs, air box,, soon to come a FWI with a DC cone filter,2.5 flowmaster exhuast, KYB GR-2 struts,STB, Akebono ceramic brake pads, Power stop drilled rotors, the new silverstars, underglow, hood scoops, .a/b131k, and custum vac lines w/non kink small engine gas line neon yellow.

Yeah, are there any reccommended fuel filters? Or is stock the way to go? I know with the oil filter most will reccommend the bigger one, wondering if there is something like that for the fuel filter. _________________ 1996 Riviera s/c Series II 144,000 miles Gutted box + K&N Intense 180* Tstat , Coupler Autolite 104's Magnaflow Cat, Res Delete And one problem after another

Although I've never personally had a bad experience with Fram, I don't use them on my cars because they're among the cheapest you can get. I found this in the Wikipedia entry: "There has also been some controversy about Frams use of average to below average oil filter medias and cardboard end caps which when compared to competitors of the same price range, may seem very lack luster despite working well enough to meet OEM Specifications."Sorry, I'm going to pay a little extra and hope the better materials and construction pays off. What's the difference in price, a couple bucks? _________________

See, I would rather go for the more expensive one. If it follows that more expensive = higher quality at least. Sometimes this isnt always the case. _________________ 1996 Riviera s/c Series II 144,000 miles Gutted box + K&N Intense 180* Tstat , Coupler Autolite 104's Magnaflow Cat, Res Delete And one problem after another
