| I've seen tons of other cars cruising around in a caravan. Alot of early model Corvettes, I think the longest one I've seen was like 30 something 1st generations. I've also seen a bunch of Model T's. My father in law actually has a Model T fire truck that's pretty awesome. My birthday's in September so we could probably have this "Meeting of the Minds" on the weekend of the 12th, if that works for everyone else. _________________ Currently Riv-less. |

| Well the weather is starting to suck up here in north central ohio and I am toying with the idea of putting the riv away for the winter but just don't have the ambition (or much cash) to get a winter beater ready and reliable. Is there many fellow riv owners that have the luxury of winter storage? I drove it through last winter but it was nerve racking, could almost hear the rust eating at her. Thinking ahead to next year...I live in Sandusky the home of Cedar Point amusement park, each August we have a cruise and show weekend "cruzin-by the Bay". Sandusky is only about 25 miles north of Norwalk as well. I can't think of a better place and time for a riv meet, it's an area that has alot to offer kids wifes girlfrinds as well and I might be able to host a small gathering or barbecue at my house to complete the meet. I think this might take more than one person to organize, I'll be first to volunteer, any other takers? August of '09 is a long way off and we should all be able to clear that weekend if we start early. What say? |

| Your scanning for "Knock Retard" (KR). When our engine detects detonation or knock it automatically retards the ignition timing. This is good except you loose power and if your engine is always running with a certain amount of KR it would indicate some tuning is required. _________________ 98 Riv, 102K Miles, EBC, LS1 Ft.Calipers, STB, Addco Rr Sway Bar, 180* stat., SSAC Headers, HF Cat, 1.9's, 105# springs, MPS 3.4, DHP tuned by the Deekster.
