| It was an option, not standard equipment. If your car is equipped it shouldn't be hard to find. Usually just a male end of a standard electrical wire near the radiator area or between radiator and grill to make it easy to plug in. _________________ 98 Riv, 102K Miles, EBC, LS1 Ft.Calipers, STB, Addco Rr Sway Bar, 180* stat., SSAC Headers, HF Cat, 1.9's, 105# springs, MPS 3.4, DHP tuned by the Deekster.

| If your car does not have it(very doubtful) you can buy one at NAPA. Bert _________________ 99 Riviera(on the left) "Cruising Missile" Midnight Blue Pearl 90,000 miles GuttedAirBox 70GS455(on the right) Diplomat Blue "Howitzer with windshield wipers" |

| I know this is a really REALLY old thread, but I wanted to ask - are the engine block heaters rare? I know most Rivieras were always pretty high optioned but I'm just curious. I have one in mine, which is what lead me to this question. Thanks! _________________ 1995 Riviera - Dark Cherry/Burgundy, 112,600 miles, Supercharged, Opened air box with K&N drop in, vac/boost gauge... 1988 Lesabre T-type - Garnet Red/Black, 117,200 miles, FWI, 3" Flowmaster exhaust, Delco II ignition swap, hood louvers... |

| There are no 'old' threads around here, just threads. Feel free to add onto any related thread you find. Thx, Admin _________________ |

| I don't know that they'd be considered "rare". I'll bet a ton of Rivs sold at northern states dealerships got them installed before they left the lot. Oddly, my Riv has heated seats, original dealership in Florida, but no engine block heater. _________________ Dave G 98 Riviera Gutted, 3.8, 180, 104'S, front PEM, 3" DP & Cat, Caddy STB, GR2's. | Yeah I didn't think they'd be rare. Mine is an original Ohio car so it makes sense. Yours? That doesn't make much sense at all lol. Oh well - you never know when you'll need heated seats though! _________________ 1995 Riviera - Dark Cherry/Burgundy, 112,600 miles, Supercharged, Opened air box with K&N drop in, vac/boost gauge... 1988 Lesabre T-type - Garnet Red/Black, 117,200 miles, FWI, 3" Flowmaster exhaust, Delco II ignition swap, hood louvers... |
