You're all familiar with these instructions -

I found they came up short in a couple places, leading to quite a bit of car repair anger Here are a few extra notes that might save up'n'coming Rivi dash removal experts a few minutes of fury -

I need to pull a few more panels off since I'm trying to fix a vent vane that got pushed in. I'll take notes on that too. I know there's at least one other here who has this problem -

What is the number for this crazy light? It goes in the door handle part that you can see in the pic. It is very small and I have never seen it.

In this pic you can see the shifter and surrounding areas. Well I would imagine the letters P N R D etc should be lit up rather than the shifter itself (where ...

After getting my windows tinted recently, noticed water had dripped down in the third brake light area. It looks ugly as hell, and I can't find much of a tool to stick down the narrow space the light makes with the glass.

Was wondering if anyone's removed the 3rd brake light. I went through the trunk and took off the light underside cover. A metal bar, some insulation, and the light were all evident, but I don't feel like replacing something else if I don't need to.

The 1998/1999 fuel tank sending unit is a different part number than the 1997 but the wiring schematic shows it to be functionally the same. So I took a chance and ordered a '98/99 unit from ebay since it was too cheap to pass up. I ordered from this guy: http://stores.ebay.ca/evalero1 and I figure I saved over $100 on the parts. The job itself took about an hour and a half, there was a lot of corrosion on the ring holding the pump assembly in the fuel tank so I also cleaned that up at the ...

After troubleshooting I know I'm not getting power to the light, so I went looking for a fuse. Help! I can't find anything for the trunk light. Does anyone know which fuse it's on? I have checked the most obvious ones with no luck, but I don't want to tear into the harness just to trace a fuse.

I just need some thoughts on what I can do to help keep things from rattling in my car. I got one 12 sub wired at 4ohms at 300w rms and it has good clear deep bass but the problem is when I roll up the windows it rattles everything in the whole car. I've read about a certain vibration proff sheet that helps reduce vibration but I don't know what I should do.

Power seat problem

Shortly after I purchased the Riv, the driver's side power seat stopped going forward. When I checked it out, I found a jumper wire coming from the switch, with an alligator clip on the other end, just laying there. After investigating, I found out it's a ground. When I hook the jumper to the little grounding tab under the seat, it will go forward, but gets pretty hot. How are the switches supposed to be grounded, and is the bad ground my only problem?

We got some cold air for a brief time (low pressure line was very cold), but now while it is still spinning, the low pressure line is not cold and there are no signs of cold air anywhere. The low pressure side port reads about 35 PSI with the compressor turning.
