I put in the 98, and the car wouldn't start. Put in 96 back in and it still wont start!

My mechanic thinks its an issue with the security VAT system. I bypassed security in my powertuner (I think) and the car still wont start up. Its getting fuel and spark. The plugs were dry so our theory of flooding the motor is out the door too.

It did something similar after the new injectors, but I checked the tune and ...

Found this unit today. It appears that the newest version with X-gauge and Add-A-Gauge features do everything the Aeroforce gauge can do for less money.

Although it is not round and cannot fit in standard gauge pod. Still worth a look I think.

Retail $169.00 includes shipping direct from factory.

Check ebay for cheaper prices, just make sure it is latest unit.

Other than 2 wires on C1 and 8 wires in C2 (PCM pinout) all them bieng transmission circuits which the 96 rivs does not have, everything eles is the same . My question is Anyone out there done this? would hate to plug it in and smoke something. OH and yeah my SES light might come on because of the missing trans sensors but who cares.

Has anyone used an IAT chip on their RIV?

Do they work well?

Are there any problems using these chips on L67 powered cars?

Is getting the pcm reprogrammed a better solution?

BUT, I also ran it in gauge mode, and watched boost and KR numbers from zero to about 80mph. Boost topped out at 9.41 psi, and KR wasn't looking too bad, until 1-2 shift... then it maxed at 6.15, under WOT. That's a bit on the scary side! During normal driving and acceleration, didn't see any KR at all. DEFINITELY won't ...

Cheap and easy, but this is way cooler cause you can control timing from inside the car, and you get a cool lil digital guage.
