Do you mean adding a blower to an L27 Series I N/A? It would be a lot of work building up the inside for lower compression, and to be tough enough to handle boost.

Still have to change a lot. The parts in those engines aren't as strong as ours are, and compression is different, PCM, ignition, and fueling systems would need upgraded.

Imo, better to install a turbo if going through all the trouble, but ZZP sells a conversion kit to add an M90 to N/A Series II. It takes a short-cut by running a bigger SC pulley (runs lower boost). A Regal GS ran mid 13s on this set-up, and I think its tranny died a couple months later:

Sure, it's possible as mentioned. Practical is another thing. I know of a couple GP buddies that went to the L36 lower ends after blowing their L67's. In the end they said it is extremely tough to tune and overall they didn't trust the bottom ends to hold up w/o running overly large pullies.

I've also been in the situation where I considered it and overall it's not recommended. Pistons and rods are different.
