My light stays on too...

When I first start the car in the morning, the light is off.....then a few minutes later the light comes on.

If I go on a long road trip, 300 miles or so.....it turns off and I can turn it on and off via switch...then when I return to my normal routine the light turns on again....

I think when I get my PCM I'm just gonna have them turn off the traction control....

yah i have a "snap-on brick scanner" too, that will definitely pin point the problem. if you're close to the st. louis area i'll scan it for you. if not, then you might wanna check your abs wires to the wheel sensors themselves and also check the abs/traction control pump. then there is also a an abs module and traction control module. take it to the dealer and pay the $100 to have them find out the problem.

....I've read that it can be a bad ABS sensor or even a dirty pick up gear? ....the toothed ring that the sensor picks up from. FYI.

Hi from willy#1, In reply to abs and traction control problem, I changed my hubs, still had abs trac prob, troubleshot complete system after getting mt2500 found the abs modulator bad, the best way to find these abs problems is to spend the money for a good scanner or take it to a shop that will scan it for you, that is if you trust the people doing it,anyway now I know whats up, and it will be verry costly, hope this info helps others
