ok, i'm reviving this thread to get some feedback.
here is my stock blower:

from what i'm seeing of all the pics the V isnt really enlarged that much. Also, most of the cnc port jobs remove the bar and port it all the way back to the bypass hole. The lim is only like 4" long so unless that too is ported all the way out i dont see how porting anything past the bar would help.
As for the V, is there such a thing as too aggressive?

here is what i'm thinking for the V:

I will post pics of the lim later.

I wouldn't even go that far with the opening. A sure way to do it is to simply angle cut and smooth the edges where they are and basically turn the arrow head shape into a triangle. Don't make the body of the opening wider or longer - just take care of the back area. The angle cutting is very easy work for a machine and quite a bit more work to do by hand.

I would do nothing to the LIM as far as opening it up unless you plan to fit an IC now. You could just trim the front edge of the opening (the side away from the BBV port) to make sure its clear of the blower outlet after you port it. There's no reason to open the intake if you're leaving the blower partitioned.

Make sure you grab a couple shorter bolts for the bottom of the blower driveneck so they don't stick out into the outlet area after you port it.

well i had already started the lim before you posted so i just kept going.
here is the lim finished (except for the studs in it). still a little bit of carbon in the runners, but i'm out of cleaner for the moment.

Im getting ready to start the blower. Here is a revised drawing of my plan (does it look alright?):

Matthew,
What kind of tools are you using to do the work.
Just curious, do you have air tools ?
If so, what are you using to cut, grind and blend the cast aluminum. ?

no air tools. just the neighbors dremel with 420 cut wheels and a grinding stone attachment.
I've literally been working on the car all day today, and plan to again tomorrow.

Did you ask Travis if he still has a LIM for sale.
He advertised 2 L67's for sale last month, but he probably moved them quick IDK.

progress shot of blower:
still have to finish removing the bar and then a final hand sanding to smooth it more.

For her blower port and polish; I think the wife made some thick aluminum washers on the lathe the correct length so that the old bolts could be reused. I assumed she would just cut the bolts, but she assumed she would make some washers. Differences in how guys vs girls solve problems i guess.
