| OK for those that know, the Riviera was on life support and I didnt pull the plug. Fortunately I got another motor for it, but the motor has the front mounts, you know, from the Grand Prixs? They have the ones that go to the front of the car, while ours are side mounts. Is there any way I can still use this motor before I have it pulled from the car and mine taken out? _________________ 1995 Riviera NA 3800 Series II motor, cat delete, chrome grill, Pioneer DEH-7400 stereo, Pioneer (2)4 1/2'', (2) Kicker 41/2'', (2) 5 1/4'' Pioneer speakers, (2) Kicker 6X9 interior speakers, (2) Audiobahn 12'' subs SOLD! bought for $500, sold for $3000

| The bolts should all be in place for the Riv's motor mounts to bolt onto the GP's block. They are the same blocks with the same bolt holes. _________________ '98 Buick Riviera; Gen V 3.25 pulley, N*, VS Cam, 180 stat, Custom PCM (Powrtuner), headers & HF cat , 42.5 lb inj. | just follow-the-wiring-harness, the ECU is hard to miss. Would be nice if Ryan or Randall would coment, they've done engine swaps as I recall. Albertj _________________ 1998 with all fac. opts. | The alternator is mounted differently, and probably doesn't have as many amps as the Riv's alternator. You want the L67's injectors as well, and I'm not sure what you need to do computer-wise. _________________ '98 Buick Riviera; Gen V 3.25 pulley, N*, VS Cam, 180 stat, Custom PCM (Powrtuner), headers & HF cat , 42.5 lb inj.
