HELP! my '91 instrument cluster doesn't register at all! sometimes i get the warning lights but no display. I have checked the connections to the cluster and all appears well. Any thought on where to go now? Computer? Any feedback would be appreciated!

where to go now = dealer diagnostics. The parts counter or the body shop should have sources to point you to for a remanufactured or repaired instrument cluster.

I've heard many times of the digital clusters failing. Most likely it needs to be rebuilt/refurbished. I can't recall who rebuilds them, but I know I saw the answer long ago on the Riviera Owners Association. http://www.rivowners.org/

If you can get your hands on another, known good one, try swapping them out. It's a pretty common failure over time.

There's a guy that rebuilds them on ebay for around $100+ but you have to send him your core. You might also check car-part.com (North America database of auto junkyards) for a tested used one which are going for $100 to $200 (+ shipping). They are a wicked easy swapout to do.

By the way, a Riviera instr cluster from a '90 through '93 will fit along with one from a Reatta '90 through '91.
