| looks kind of like the amg wheels MB used on some of their cars. i like em! now you just need to lower it a little bit to fix some of the wheel gap. _________________ 3.4, N*, 1.84RR, P&P blower and LIM, 3"DP, 4"WAI, plog, 6K HID, Eibach pro springs, KYB GR-2, Fbody 12" brakes, caddy STB & sway bar. | The rims look nice, did you pick them up used? Isn't that similar to newer Impala rims? _________________ Dave G 98 Riviera Gutted, 3.8, 180, 104'S, front PEM, 3" DP & Cat, Caddy STB, GR2's. DHP 1.5 |

| I like those rims alot because they make the Riv look sportier, yet they don't go overboard. I'm interested in something like that, maybe just a tab more conservative-looking. I'm a bit torn when it comes to rims because mine has the 7-spoke chrome OEM rims, which are really nice-looking, but I think they date the car more than I like. I'd also like to get much wider tires than the 225s I have now. I agree that there is too much wheel gap, but it looks really nice anyway. |

| I agree that you guys are funny! Seriously, the handling of the car is like 10 times better. What a huge difference. This is going from my stockers with worn out Michelin Pilots 225-60-16 (which I loved) to 245/45/ZR17s The old Pilots were only H rated, vs the new ZRs, plus the 45 profile is just awesome. They are a little shorter than stock, so the gap is more. I don't think I'm going to lower it since my winter tires will be stock sized too... but I can see where the looks would improve quite a bit. Lowered cars is not my thing. Thanks a ton for the complements. I've been looking for rims pretty much since I bought the car. I like simple, easy to clean, sporty... these fit the bill nicely. The only thing I would have liked better is if I found them in chrome. I got a pretty good deal on them used. Borbet doesn't make Type Es anymore. I paid $300, had to have one rim straightened (another $100) and bought two new tires (two of them had bad cracking). TireRack had the tires on closeout sale for $78.00 each, what a deal. My brother works at NTB on the side, so mounting and balancing was FREE and well done!!! So all in all I spent a little over $500 which is still a good deal for this setup. Thanks for all the complements, I am very happy with the way they turned out! _________________ '98 Buick Riviera; Gen V 3.25 pulley, N*, VS Cam, 180 stat, Custom PCM (Powrtuner), headers & HF cat , 42.5 lb inj. | What a cool photoshop... I was thinking what a clear hood would look like and there is a local guy that will do it for me (at least a panel that would fit in the middle). I might talk him into it. _________________ GenV, IC, Rockers, PRJ LL Cam, 2.8MPS, TEP Trans, +100 other modifications.

| Nice layover Deek. Looks awesome. I wouldn't do it for real though. Makes me think of John Travolta at the end of Grease. _________________ Currently Riv-less. |
