| NICE -Is the rear car "Bordeaux Pearl"? -Where on earth did that convertible come from? I love the way they worked the CHMSL into the decklid. _________________ 97 Riviera L67 - Desert Sandstone - Gutted AB Lid, Kool Blue AF, 180* SuperStat, Hogan 3" DP, ZZP 3.6" MPS; Sensa-Trac struts, Rockford-Fosgate 6x9's; Annoyance-Fixes: Express-Down delete, Full-time juice to Power Port, BRP-power to Glovebox lite, Brake-to-Shift delete, Console-compartment lite, Seat/Mirror Memory in any gear.

| Yes, the 99 in back is Bordeaux Red Pearl. The convertible was done in Florida by Coach Builders LTD. Some better pictures are under the "96 convertible" thread in Showroom. |

Very cool, and a very cool company... Those ragtops must've gone for $50K when they were new!
I love that Bordeaux. I really wanted one with the matching interior, but I couldn't bring myself to buy a car 2,000 miles away...
Say, since you own both of them, have you noticed if the '67 is appreciably faster and/or less thirsty than the '66? _________________ 97 Riviera L67 - Desert Sandstone - Gutted AB Lid, Kool Blue AF, 180* SuperStat, Hogan 3" DP, ZZP 3.6" MPS; Sensa-Trac struts, Rockford-Fosgate 6x9's; Annoyance-Fixes: Express-Down delete, Full-time juice to Power Port, BRP-power to Glovebox lite, Brake-to-Shift delete, Console-compartment lite, Seat/Mirror Memory in any gear.

| They are both about the same-I haven't timed them, but they're pretty quick. The 67 gets about 1 mpg better. _________________ Kevin Kinney 65-75 Riv GS, 84 Turbo convert, 85 T-Type, 85 Turbo convert, 96 Convert, 99 SA, 99 daily driver

| Nice collection, Kevin. Just so you know, you are permitted to have up to one Showroom thread for each car you own, so feel free to post them up! _________________ |

Thanks, I was curious. I spent a lot of high school in a '67 GS, but I've never driven a nail-head. I was told they made a lot of power but drank a lot of gas, and the 430 was an improvement. Actually, in a car like that (which I don't believe only weighs 4200 lbs, per my short research the other night) 1MPG is about a ten percent improvement! I'd certainly take another 1.6 in my Riv... _________________ 97 Riviera L67 - Desert Sandstone - Gutted AB Lid, Kool Blue AF, 180* SuperStat, Hogan 3" DP, ZZP 3.6" MPS; Sensa-Trac struts, Rockford-Fosgate 6x9's; Annoyance-Fixes: Express-Down delete, Full-time juice to Power Port, BRP-power to Glovebox lite, Brake-to-Shift delete, Console-compartment lite, Seat/Mirror Memory in any gear.
