oh okay... but dos it change anything if i take the cat off? and but just a normal 3'' rostfree pipe there? so much as i know the car gets info of the O2 sensor in down pipe that fuil mixture is perfect. not to much fuil or air. but one is after cat... what is it mesuring there?

If you removed the cat you would probably get a service engine light, or error code in the PCM for the rear O2 sensor. The rear O2 sensor does nothing except confirm the cat is working right. As long as you keep the front O2 sensor in place you'll be fine. If you have to pass exhaust emissions testing, some people will install a rear O2 'simulator' that keeps the error code away._________________ '98 Buick Riviera; Gen V 3.25 pulley, N*, VS Cam, 180 stat, Custom PCM (Powrtuner), headers & HF cat , 42.5 lb inj. | dashboard done tomorrow maybe get driver seat lether changed tho. Still dont have any idea how soloplastic would be called in english. its a materjal whats good for noise and warm isolation. in the intake i will but stainless steal wall and but the intake pipe through it.on the side where the cone will be..i glue 'soloplastic' on heatwall. that stops the engine heat go through it to cone. and on the top of the plate will but a ruber seal what should hold against bonet when closed. will show everythign when get on whit it. at the moment buting the interjor back together. today buted carpet back in. hmmm..well its not very hard...whit the right tools took me 2-3h time for removing the whould interjor. if somone plans to whach the carped whit pressure whacher then you should wait till its tottaly dryed befor you but it back to car. been waiting 3 days for it to dry |

| Very nice work on the dashboard. Look forward to seeing you do the rest of the interior. It looks likes like you have a good shop to work in and some experience doing this work. Nice job! Please keep us posted on your progress and thanks for sharing. _________________ 98 Riv, 102K Miles, EBC, LS1 Ft.Calipers, STB, Addco Rr Sway Bar, 180* stat., SSAC Headers, HF Cat, 1.9's, 105# springs, MPS 3.4, DHP tuned by the Deekster.

| Welcome! To answer some of your questions , yes the Series 1 has a louder supercharger , mostly because it has a smaller pulley on it so it spins faster. It has to spin faster to make the same boost since its smaller. Also , if you want performance parts , check out www.zzperformance.com as i know they ship to australia and canada , so they might ship anywhere internationally. As for the ABS and traction control light , check your ignition wires from the coil to the plugs . For some reason bad wires can set the traction control off. Not sure why but check it out. _________________ 1996 Riviera, 89k miles Show: Tint ,Sherwood dash kit , PAU 17s , Magnaflow tips Go: 1.9s ,FWI , 99+, Stage 1 TB, Plog + DP , 3.4" , Ported Gen III , decent tune. | Next time you pull out the carpet for a thorough cleaning (a shampooing) consider using a wet/dry vacuum cleaner to remove as much water as you can. A floor nozzle or crevice nozzle (that concentrates teh vacuum in a thin line) will work best for the water removal. Then if it is not too humid where you live it should only take 1/2 day to 1 day to dry. VERY nice job with the soloplastic on the dashboard. In the US a good brand of vinyl for this purpose is Naugahyde, which has UV inhibitors and plasticisers for just this type of thing, and comes in somewhat different thicknesses. See http://www.naugahyde.com. IF you want to buy some a good source is http://www.fabricsbyous.com/naugahyde/naugahyde.htm. And sometimes JoAnn Fabrics will have remnants of the stuff. Just flip it over, if it's Naugahyde it will have the trademark printed on the fabric backing. And if you buy a Nauga let me know. Albertj |
