The TVS is a fine choice, someone on 3800pro has successfully completed this swap. Read about it here: http://www.3800pro.com/forum/superchargers/23690-eaton-tvs-1900-blower-now-option-3-8l.html

The problem on the hood is it isn't a "rust" bubble, aluminum doesn't rust. It will however corrode, and do it very quickly in some areas; I'd at least get that taken care of ASAP so it doesn't get worse._________________ '92 Black/Burgundy.............'95 Black/Tan...................'99 Silver Arrow #152.......'99 Silver Arrow #10 ROA #5360/NC Regional Coordinator http://www.cardomain.com/id/99Rivman |

| Very common for the leading edge of the hood to corrode under the paint. When I bought mine it was like that for about a week. Dropped it off at the body shop for them to strip the hood and properly prep the aluminum for primer and paint, as well as some other touch ups. Since it's my DD it seems I've been averaging a trip to the body shop for misc. dings and chip work every 18 months or so. Trying to keep it like new. _________________ 98 Riv, 102K Miles, EBC, LS1 Ft.Calipers, STB, Addco Rr Sway Bar, 180* stat., SSAC Headers, HF Cat, 1.9's, 105# springs, MPS 3.4, DHP tuned by the Deekster.
