Umm. What exactly does "CV boots out of round" mean? That makes no sense

You might want to read through this thread

http://rivperformance.editboard.com/t748-vibration-shimmy-at-cruising-speed

Most of us have had this experience with Rivieras. I've had this same problem. Axles can cause a vibration, yes, but you'd more than likely have a "popping" sound when going from Drive to Reverse and turning corners along with it. My problem was the lower control arm bushings....

Either way, $1000 for a vibration repair is ridiculous. #1, the Riv front end is easy to work on
#2, parts ARE NOT that expensive.

The amount for the parts are outrageous plus they 200 dollar shop fee whoo. But I rule out all the things I have changed like tires, rims, tie rod ends, ball joints which I have changed prior too this problem already its all starting to make sense this shit is not cheap!!! Brought new rotors brake pads transmission mount under the rack( P.I.T.A) which stopped the steering wheel from jiggling. I dont know im running out of ideas suspension Robo's way is 1200 man lol
