3rd and nicest ride of the year yesterday. I have a few aesthetic mods i'm going to do over the next few weekends. First will be replacing the block brake light with a smooth undertail sequential LED assembly.

That bike is clean! Awesome to see the Volt only needs a small tankfull once every month!

Thanks, homie. it's a 2002 with about 23k on the clock. 1 previous owner that took very good care of her. I will tell you what, these bikes have something called vboost that is essentially a turbo charger that opens up after 6000rpm and holy crap. She pulls REAL hard.

Heh, sounds a lot like my i-VTEC system which opens 4 of the 8 intake valves after 2,300RPM! Since it's a butterfly valve on the intake, I'd imagine the bike sounds like there's a crossover too.
Actually, they sound like little V8's going down, nice bike for sure!

Yep! That's it! Same on this engine. Butterfly valve opens after 6kRPM and opens in the intake valves. WHHHOOOOOSH! The only way I can describe it is like the millennium falcon right as it goes FTL. The stars are dots then turn to lines!

Sold the 'Vette. Drove it to Florida and sold it. Now I'm flying back home to New Mexico.

Not really cheaper than shipping. I didn't drive it to FL with intentions of selling it. I went to a Corvette meet in Tampa and a fella offered me a good price and so I sold it. I never get attached to anything for long (except my wife). I've discovered that 'Vettes sell for 2 to 3k more here in FL than in AZ or NM.

Fabbed my rear fender to host a CBR 1000 LED brake light. So happy to get the amber turn signals off the bike. Gotta hack the front now, turn signals, mirrors, and fly screen. My first fab/welding project ever!

My motorcycle.... haven't been riding regularly in years though since the new kiddo (now 8) and moving to NC, and may actually be considering selling it this spring to help fund older kiddo (18) college.

It looks a little different now than the photos in the story above as I've done a few more things to it, but is essentially current.

Bought it back in January. Loved the car, but I'm wanting a Z06. I'm also not all that fond of rag tops.

Pretty nice. I need to get myself and SUV so I don't have to drive the Riv in the winter.
