| Those damn things run forever. The rust will probably get it before the engine goes. | |

| Jordon(69GSColorado) claimed I should post pics of my GA so I guess I'll do it just for fun. May not be much function under the hood but it sure can handle corners. Hopefully its a looker too! 2000 Grand Am GT-SC/T Some mods include: SC/T hood/spoiler SC/T concept body/lip kit. Pontiac concept car wheels 18x8 35mm offset Discontinued bigger front and rear SpeedBuilt swaybars with poly bushings Discontinued SpeedBuilt strut braces Lowered 1.75" all around--KYB struts Borla Cat-Back exhaust Bigger front brakes(Impala SS slotted rotors with dual piston Firebird calipers) Rotors are around 1" bigger then stock and stock caliper is a single piston. GoodRidge SS lines 22mm Wheel spacers Custom HID projector retrofit LED Flood light fogs LED tail lights LED interior lighting LED front turn signals Shorty antenna Bonneville GXP shift knob(Apparently those a rare) Gauge pod: Oil Press/temp and volts (Yes I'm one of those guys) Later on might be getting some tubular lateral links from a Grand Prix, stronger and lighter then my stockers. I could write a book on why this car is worth more for someone to mod the appearance then performance but heres some info. Why don't you supercharge it? -Oh trust me I look at my car and wish it had performance under the hood everytime but get this. There are 15(no exaggeration) bolt on made superchargers made for this car. Eaton M62 Magnacharger, 2 of which where prototypes on the concept cars. Only time you will find one is if its being sold by someone who where lucky enough to buy one when they where sold. Concept cars where called SC/T and had this body kit so yeah its not a true SC/T but yeah, that S/C tho. Turbo it? -Bottom line, really don't want to pay $4400 just for the turbo setup. Thats not even including the stock block I need to rebuild and other supporting mods. Someone has that setup and was the manufacturers guinea pig and his car is making 400whp and 435wtq, stock power is 175hp and 205tq. But even his car isn't running properly, there is always that little problem behind it. Not to mention I want a better platform anyway. N/A? -Most I could buy is ported manifolds and headers but then again all the header manufacturers are discontinued except pacesetter but they have questionable quality so I avoid them, plus the ones I do want are not made anymore obviously and you have to be careful with porting the manifolds here because it'll lose some top end. In the end my car is a cherry compared to other unfortunate people who've had many problems. Many have had problems with LIM gaskets, UIM gaskets and other miscellaneous problems, know of some who replaced 6 gaskets in 100k miles. Only thing I have had to replace on the 40k I've owned it is a fuel pump, car has 130k now. So in a way I want to keep it stock seeing as I have had luck with it being reliable this way and I don't want to ruin it. Not to mention it is virtually rust free inside out, top to bottom, just some very light surface rust underneath in obvious places seeing as it is a DD. Now that I've wasted yalls time, time for pictures! Don't be to harsh. I'm an avid detailer so I like to be anal about my cars cleanliness | |

| Nice GA! Are you in the Chicago area? I could have sworn somebody popped up on thechicagogarage with a nice lookin GA but that was a bit ago. Milzy motorsports sells all your ported top end stuff and whatnot. Don't know how worthwhile it is for daily driving but some more top end at least | |

| This is a sweet car you have and its way cooler than any of its bastard brother dime a dozen GTPs you see everywhere in the midwest! You listed a few options for more power but I did not see your consideration for an L67 swap. I dont think you have our transmission so you might need that too but if you can do that swap you would have a sweet little platform to build some serious power on. You should at least consider it. Car looks too good to not get some fire power! | |

Jbird I agree Jeff, I've never seen another like it, and it sure stands out in a crowd. Me and Tanner attend a lot of the local car cruises in Columbia, and it's hilarious to see the puzzled looks on the faces of so called "gear-heads" that think we're driving a Rolls Royce and GTO. We're the only two that proudly rep '90s GM FWD cars. The few and the proud!

| Thanks all!
I live in mid missouri so I'm not near Chicago.
Our stock transmissions are not too strong and it is possible to swap an F40 manual in. If I where to hypothetically find a S/C for this car I'd go to around 260+ hp and 280+ tq just from the S/C alone so at that point I'd be above stock L67s. Granted I'll probably never get a chance to get the S/C but on the other end doing a L67 swap is WAAAAAY too much work to be worth it, needing to completely change pretty much everything, things get sketchy when you mess with completely new wiring harnesses and PCM/BCMs. Unless I planned on keeping the car forever I'd be better off buying another car.

| Man, I wish people could keep their own 'other ride' threads and not have them all dumped into this bulk thread. These rides DESERVE their own threads. | |

| Yeah, then I'd get to listen to "Isn't this supposed to be a Riviera site?" comments. Can't make everyone happy, so for now at least: THIS IS A RIVIERA DISCUSSION BOARD. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I tend to agree about this staying a Riviera discussion board. There are other car specific forums. I have second and third gen Camaro's and I have threads on the appropriate forums for those. | |

| I think the "other showroom/current past rides" should have its own sectio on the forum, not a massive thread like we have now with no organization. Then people could create their own threads to showcase their other rides. | |

| I agree with Jordon. Yes this is a Riv forum. Awesome. But man, some of yall have some other really sweet rides and I hate how they disappear in this dump of a thread.
If you want to update us on your alt ride, you have to update this entire thread and all of your posts and pics will be blended with everyone else's.
Jordon has a good solution, I think.

Seems easy, but it's a lot of work splitting up these now massive threads, without much value in the grand scheme of things, but I'll consider when there's time. Btw, the "Other Showroom" was also a suggestion by members, back when most of us were more interested in showing our Rivs. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

It's a lot of work to split up these massive threads, without much value in the grand scheme of things, but I'll consider it when there's time. I wouldnt worry about retroactively splitting this thread up. Just going forward.. Give them a new home in their own section.

| That wouldn't be very fair to the existing rides in the thread. If the newbies get to show their pretty "other" cars, no reason the veteran members can't do the same. That, and I'm a bit OCD when it comes to organizing things. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
