If you've never been to the Straits of Mackinac then you'd be getting a double dose of fun. Can you imagine a 1500+ stream of Riviera's crossing the 5 mile span?

They didn't do it. They couldn't do it. No record for the Mini's. Great place for a meet.

How many Riviera's do you think could make a run to take the record? 1452 needed. Are there 1400 Riv's left?

I agree, count me in, our vacation in Michigan was one of if not our favorite.
Be glad to go back and seeing/joining all the Rivs would be a bonus.

I would say it would be a HUGE challenge!

The largest pre-registrations have been for any of the ROA meets I am familiar with was 150 Rivieras. We didn't end up having that many but that was the pre-registered number.

As Matt and Jeff commented, getting that many Riv "owners" together would be the problem.

50 state coordinators and a healthy dose of enthusiasm to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (Pure Michigan) can get you off to a great feasibility study start. The Mackinac Region Visitors & Convention folks may be interested in helping out with the initial expenses as well.

I don't know exactly how it's done but you can access the state license bureau database and preen the data you're looking for ( like those mailers you get for extended car warranties ). State by State I'm sure it differs. At the end of the discovery period at least you'd know how many registered Riv's there are in the U.S. (Not forsaking our international brothers)

Now you have your numbers and you decide if it is possible to begin with then the cost of contact and communication with interested parties. ...so on.

You never know, you may run into a person or two that owns maybe five or six Riviera's.

and following the last Riviera across the bridge I want a Cooper Mini with a yellow stripe painted straight up its arse.

I'd certainly be interested if I were closer.
