96 N/A Riv interior Empty
PostSubject: 96 N/A Riv interior   96 N/A Riv interior EmptyTue Dec 15, 2015 5:53 pm

I have just taken delivery of my 96 N/A riv and see that there are a couple of things that need attention. I have posted in the parts wanted section for a drivers side door panel and an interior light assembly. Now the car has been in the Florida sun for all of its life and the top of the dash is cracked and in pretty bad shape, any ideas?
The other problem I have with this new car and my 97 is the steering column, the whole tilt assembly is loose and the steering column moves from side to side. Is there a fix that I can do to to prevent this?

As far as the dash top being cracked, I remember it being pretty easy to remove the top dash panel! They arent hard to find in good shape!

Yeah, there is an entire thread dedicated to this.

Basically, there are 2 bushings that work their way out of the tilt pivot. You have to take the dash apart to fix it. Read the entire thread. There are several ways to fix it. My solution is on page 16 and 17.
