PostSubject: urethane motor mounts   Mon Jun 25, 2018 4:58 pm

Anyone have any experience machining blocks of urethane?  I am thinking about custom machining engine/transmission mount inserts out of 50 or 60 durometer "tails" of urethane castings such as

https://www.ebay.com/itm/URETHANE-POLYURETHANE-BAR-3-X-3-X-10-55-Duro-A-BLACK-4866/263288333784?hash=item3d4d3525d8:g:HZsAAOSwe51Z93Bz

? anyone ?  I found some info here (LINK) but wondered if anyone had *done* any. I'm thinking about grinding/drilling/cutting motor mount insert from urethane so I can quit replacing them with Anchor Rubbers.
