Radio & window power staying on after door is open

Pulled accessory relay. Coil pulls in when reinstalled.
Is this a body control module issue?

Same behavior with both doors - probably BCM

With one door? Probably door latch

WHile you are waiting, check the wiring.

Did the BCM ever get wet that you know of?

No ,but this car was parked for 2-3 months just prior to this issue.

While waiting for that BCM, check those door latches. You'll want the wiring diagram out of the service manual, which you should buy a copy for yourself, they are almost always on eBay for a reasonable price.

Why bother with the door switches??

The microswitches may both have issues due to sitting and age.

What you are referring to is called Retained Accessory Power, and the FSM has a trouble diagnosis chart. That is the easiest way to figure out what is going on without pulling your hair out.

Larry is 125% right on this one, I should have asked. Do you have a copy of the FSM?

Anybody have a part number for the door switch? The radio turns off if I open and close the pass side door, but not the driver's side door, so I'm assuming the switch is bad.

I believe it is built into the latch.
