does anyone know or remember where i can find a write up on installing a resistor to booost trans pressure !!!

Trans pressure? For that you need this.

Not electrical. It replaces the transmission shfit modualtor which controls trans fluid pressure.

You can adjust with the screw inside.

no no i think on that other buickgs forum or whatever there was a thread on installing a resistor in the wire from the ecm to the pressure regulator in the trans that controls the pressure depending on the demand.

Yes but you have a 4t60E trans. the resistor mod is for a 4t65E trans found on 97+ rivieras.

yeah but i think the 95 and 96 rivs have a different transmission thats vacuum modulated and not electronic.

that will cause undesired shifting results. You need the modulator.

Incorrect shift ponts, bucking, sudden tcc lockup . stuff like that
