Error code

P0141.... O2 sensor heater circuit malfuntion.( bank 1 sensor 2). it came up a few weeks ago got the code and cleared it and it didnt come back for about two weeks...does this mean i should just replace the sensorr? i about 17-19 driving in town so my sensor probably isnt reading too badly.

I believe sensor 2 would be the one at the cat. It won't affect driveability. Should replace it though.

You can get a rear O2 simulator if you are ever going to do anything with an aftermarket cat, now's the time... and it's cheaper than a new O2 sensor.

Disconnect the battery when you are installing it if you don't have any way to clear the codes otherwise. Codes will 'clear' if the battery is disconnected for 20 minutes or so.

well i was thinking about getting a 3in dp with no cat so i might just do that and i have a cheap little scanner i got at autozone that reads and clears codes so thats not a problem... i had a 20 dollar credit and it was only like 60 bucks. the only thing with the 02 sim is that zzperformances says it only works with the 98-99 rivs and idk anywhere else that sells them.
