More than likely. But the problem is the length. I'm not sure that would be enough to replace the cat. Summit sells 3 inch piping, 4 feet for 12 bucks or something. Or I could go to a local muffler shop and ask them to cut me a 3" dia. piece however long it would take. |

| I only used about 3.5" because I also put in a Flowmaster venturi cone (very gradual taper from 3" to 2.5", and I did this before the resonator.
If you get a custom length cut, ask for stainless. _________________ '98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '05 GTO • 85k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26 Because fun'70 Olds Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe • 116k miles • 455 Rocket V8 Because cool'95 Celica • 152k miles • 0-60: yes Because free |

| 97+ has a bolt in cat. We have the 96, which is welded in. Aftermarket headers come with a downpipe but not usually a cat. |

| So I would have to weld? Which isn't a big deal. And get a separate cat? |

| I'm pretty sure the ZZP H-body downpipe is the best fit. They even advertise them for the Riviera, plus they are the chepest |

| They are. You just need to clamp/weld the high flow cat in. Other than that it's bolt in. |

| I ended up buying the Hogan hbody downpipe with the welded magnaflow cat, hopefully it bolts up to the flange like stated earlier, the zzp hbody deletes the cat which I can't have in my state. |
