I'm about to do mine and I'm just going to use the GM stuff. I hate when I hear from otherwise knowledgable "superchargers don't need oil" and "don't they just use oil from the engine."nono

I use the GM SC oil as it is a price bargain. Redline's friction modifier cost as much as two GM bottles for only four ounces—Redline's is literally twice the price.

Also friction modifiers are a completely different ball game than engine oils....completely different. I am with you, I would never use engine oil in my SC.

The current CTS-V's rear differential simply cannot withstand the forces of the V8 attached to if the driver is constantly romping on it. The new CTS-V is suppose to address this issue.
