hey all,

I'm looking at a '95 riv that needs a new ECU computer. How much does that usually cost to replace?

It's not cheap, so don't go to a dealership. Find one at a salvage yard if you really need it. Never heard of one actually going bad, but I think they mistakenly get replaced all of the time.

We call it PCM (Powertrain Control Module) in GM talk.

I bought my PCM from Rockauto. It costs about 240$ + shipping.
