Engine Noise Empty
PostSubject: Re: Engine Noise   Engine Noise EmptyMon Mar 26, 2007 2:36 pm

OK, the tires have about 200 miles on them and now I have an "internal engine" problem. ARGH. It sounds like valve tap, but I'm being told it's fatal. Anyone knowledgeable about this noise? I'll try to get an .mp3 of it and post it in the next couple days.

Who is telling you it's fatal? Any clues as to where it's coming from? Can you describe the sound? Try posting in this part of the forum as well: http://rivperformance.editboard.com/Supercharged-3800-Tech-c2/Series-II-Engine-Transmission-f4.htm

Could be your idler pulley. Not sure of what sound you're hearing, but I thought I had some major issues when I first heard mine going out.
