I have been searching for a website for weeks trying to find a website that has all the answers to my 97 Riviera questions! Glad I found this site!

I just found this website yesterday, and man is it awesome. I like the sense of "community" here. I also have a 97 Riviera that I need answers to. These guys are superb and they give you quick answers. Let me be the second to say welcome.

Welcome! You've got a good car with the potential to be a really awesome car if you choose to take it that way. The Riv is one of the best car buys out there for regular people.

Thanks guys! I'm located in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Just bought my Riv a month ago. I thought it was in great shape for what I paid, I can't believe all the awesome things people on here have done to there Rivs! Trying to figure out how to get pics up on here to show mine, as is.

To post pics here, simplest way is to open a free Photobucket.com account. You load your pic files to their site, then link to them in your posts here.

98riviera98 - my Riviera is a 97. Bought it from my sister for $800 with 148,000 miles. Its pretty good condition, but after reading information on this site, I believe I can get it in better condition, plus all the routine things that were never done to it.

Invest in a floorjack and jackstands...and paper towels and shop rags! wink

These cars are fun to mod/work on, and pretty soon the mod bug will bite you too!

My sis and her husband figured if they traded it in for there new car they would get fu*ked, so they sold to me what they thought the dealership would give them. I'm not complaining!!!!!

"Flikr" might be good, too. I really try to minimize how many sites I have 'membership' in, but I've had a Yahoo ID since I first got on the Net a decade ago... Thanks to corporate mergers and acquisitions, your Yahoo ID gets you a Flickr account too! happy

Once you have your pictures uploaded and arranged, just click on any given photo so that it opens up full size, then right-click it and select "Copy Image Location"... Then you can paste the link into any post you make here, such as:

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3379/3549625158_aae046efec.jpg?v=0
