Finally here are a couple shots of the two Gen-8s in my life; my girlfriend's and the one I bought for my mom.
My girlfriend's '97 supercharged in front and my mom's '97 supercharged in the back. The girlfriend's is white and my mom's is the pearl white (white diamond?)
From the other direction; my mom's now in front & my girlfriend's in back. It doesn't really show in these views, but my girlfriend's car has the gold Riviera emblems and my mom's has the silver-tone emblems. The other difference is the girlfriend's car has a sun/moon roof and my mom's doesn't
Across the street, you can see my '99 Suzuki Swift, the "White Gnat" that I drive to save gas. My hypermiling techniques yield 40 to 42 mpg around town, and I've hit 50 before on the highway. The two Rivs get around 28-30 on the highway. Not sure about around town.
