I need to adjust the toe on the rear passenger tire as it is wearing unevenly on the inside. I can tell that the tire is "pointing in" too much compared to the other rear tire. As there is no other adjustment on the rear and there are no damaged components, I have to assume that the toe is excessive and needs to be adjusted.

I just need to confirm that the correct way to do this is to loosen the small bolt that is integrated into the threads, and then turn the 18mm nut accordingly to actually adjust the cam/link? Then retighten with correct torque.

When loosening the small bolt is it a standard counterclockwise to loosen? Need to know before I kill myself turning it the wrong way.

Much obliged - feel free to chime in with any other words of wisdom as well

I'll tell you one thing tho,if your adjustable links are toast,you will never get it to stay aligned. But yes,turning the cam is the way to do it,you can also turn out the tie rod too.

counterclockwise to loosen the small cam bolt? I dont think the links are toast - the car is clean and never abused

I forget which way they turn,really depends on where your alignment is.I mean,you have to remove the tie rod end from the rear knuckle and twist around the tie rod.If the tie rod is loose or gets stuck "Indexes" it's toast.

Yes. Those nuts are your typical "righty tighty, lefty loosey".
What Robo means is if the outer tie rod is worn on the inside (which you can't see), it's possible that they won't center themselves and get stuck. If you align the rear end to a stuck tie rod, one good bump or pothole and your alignment is back to shit.
I assume you're planning on adjusting it yourself. I suggest getting an actual 4 wheel alignment done. If the rear tire has that much negative toe, you aren't going to get it back to normal without a machine. The rear alignment is usually set at about -.10* toe as it is. If something has caused it to go that much farther negative (toe in), your camber is affected as well.

Yes you may get it back to somewhat normal, and it might be fine. I'm just putting possibilities on the table. It's just a concern that something may very well be messed up and need repair.
