Quite possibly the cleanest one I've ever seen. That one is worth garaging and not touching IMO.

She may look sweet, but she doesn't come without a few issues. None unsurmountable though.
She needs a new power steering pump. And it smells like coolant inside, no drips or anything, but it just has that smell, so I think I'm going to need to replace the heater core.

Christmas eve on my way home I stopped at a rest area, got out, locked the doors and left my wife inside. When I came back she unlocked the doors to let me in. When I turned on the ignition key all of the lights inside and out started blinking on and off. (like another posting in this forum)
There wasn't anything I could do to stop it. It eventually quit itself after a couple of minutes. I turned the ignition back on and it started again. After it quit again, I went under the hood and disconnected one of the leads on the remote positive terminal. This did nothing. I reconnected it, started the car and it did it again. I dropped the hood and it all stopped. I drove home and when the wife opened the passenger door it started again. I haven't driven it again since. I'm going to hook up my code reader (I presume it's under the dash on the drivers' side) and see if it gives any codes. I'm thinking it must be related to something in the passenger door, as that is the first time it was used to unlock the car. But then again it quit when I shut the hood. bonk scratch help

Absolutely fantastic, Russ! Looks like a really beautiful example, and thank you for posting the photos here.

It's great to see another example added here in Washington state.

We've had some preliminary conversations regarding the possibility of an 8th generation Riviera get-together -- perhaps in Ellensburg or Yakima -- sometime during 2014. Obviously, we'd be excited if this is a possibility for you as well.

Please keep us posted!

I'll certainly try my best to meet up with any fellow Riv owners here in Washington or elsewhere!

Holy cow that's an AWESOME color and the car looks incredible. That's such a good color combination with the chrome wheels...wow.

I really hope you/we can get the electrical issue sorted out. I wish I lived in Washington with all of you! Haha.

lights and horn - that's the standard antitheft, try unlock-lock-unlock with the key fob remote, it should reset and quiet down.
