You guys are missing out if you aren't getting together this coming Thu - Sat at NTR in Hebron. Race, Show, or just spectate. TONS of Buicks, mostly 60's to the 80's Regals and GN's, but many newer cars as well. The show has formal judging classes, and also non-judged class if you don't want your car picked apart. Wanna race? You can buy single day race passes, don't have to race all 3 days.

During the school year would probably not work for a lot of guys. Either IN school, or kids in school, in my case. Not that I can travel this year anyway...

i really wouldn't even be missing school........ i would leave friday morning... i only have one class on fridays...... then monday sometime i would re-appear

i think it would be awesome to go for a huge riviera cruise....

I've seen tons of other cars cruising around in a caravan. Alot of early model Corvettes, I think the longest one I've seen was like 30 something 1st generations. I've also seen a bunch of Model T's. My father in law actually has a Model T fire truck that's pretty awesome. My birthday's in September so we could probably have this "Meeting of the Minds" on the weekend of the 12th, if that works for everyone else.

when i went to the carolinas i seen a group mustangs waiting for thier pulled over by a cop buddy...it was awesome seeing them wait up on the shoulder and not leaving thier buddy behind

Wats up, new to the wesite, i owned a 98 rivi n long story short a deer and fence eneded that 1, my brother also has a 98 rivi n i just got a motor swap put into a 95 rivi, i live near dayton if any 1 wants to geta meet goin

Well the weather is starting to suck up here in north central ohio and I am toying with the idea of putting the riv away for the winter but just don't have the ambition (or much cash) to get a winter beater ready and reliable. Is there many fellow riv owners that have the luxury of winter storage? I drove it through last winter but it was nerve racking, could almost hear the rust eating at her.

Thinking ahead to next year...I live in Sandusky the home of Cedar Point amusement park, each August we have a cruise and show weekend "cruzin-by the Bay". Sandusky is only about 25 miles north of Norwalk as well. I can't think of a better place and time for a riv meet, it's an area that has alot to offer kids wifes girlfrinds as well and I might be able to host a small gathering or barbecue at my house to complete the meet.

I think this might take more than one person to organize, I'll be first to volunteer, any other takers? August of '09 is a long way off and we should all be able to clear that weekend if we start early. What say?

hrm, 486km, 7 hrs, if i take the ferry.... who knows... i'd go, depends on whats on my plate in Aug... but I'd be up for it....

That sounds like fun,i live about 4 hours away from Sandusky. bout 170 miles but i hav a lot of work to still do on my car so it would be
best for me to do it after winter. Ill be workin on it all winter so when spring comes ill be ready. Almost any day next year is good for me.

Just wondering who was all from Ohio ? Anyone got a rod knock scanner ? If so, let me know, and i will meet you and pay you for letting me use it. Thanks !

I am from Cols don't know what a rod knock scanner is though. AA is from Cols.

Your scanning for "Knock Retard" (KR).
When our engine detects detonation or knock it automatically retards the ignition timing.
This is good except you loose power and if your engine is always running with a certain amount of KR it would indicate some tuning is required.

Il pay for half of it ronson but if my new motor has a rod knocking il shoot that guy that built it in less than 2 years lol
