PostSubject: Approaching 160k   FAQ: Maintenance Lessons - first 200,000 miles - Page 4 EmptyThu Feb 06, 2014 1:54 pm

So the SS Buick is rolling strong towards 160k and for all the good she's treated me so far I want to freshen her up, now i just need a good weekend of non-NJ weather and i should be good to go....
So far my garage box set includes:
TB Gasket
EGR
EGR gasket
Boost Bypass Solenoid
New 02’s
New plugs/wires
New brake fluid
LIM gasket
Fuel filter
Trans Oil/Filter
Lots of brake cleen
Within the past 10k I did:
Tensioner/idler Pullies
Pads/Rotors
Belts
Coolant Flush/Change
Supercharger coupler/oil
Fresh K&N
(possibly more that I cant think of ATM)

2 Questions:
1. Anything that I haven’t thought of?
2. Those dreaded vacuum hoses, specifically those hard plastic lines and the T’s they’re connected to, is there a list break down or a homemade parts remedy to fix those better than stock? Thankfully only one of my plastic lines got cracked but its surviving with electrical tape and shrink wrap, but I noticed that both of the rubber/plastic whatever T’s are getting brittle, so the sooner they get fixed the better. Any options?
