I personally found it easier to put the chrome strips on with the grill off the car. I just brought it inside and set it on the table and did all my work there. Much more organized too.

thats what i was thinking plus with all the shit i did to my car today i just didnt have enough daylight and with no garage im limited so i took it off and its sitting on my coffee table waiting for me to start

Ok 2 and a half hours later im done except for 3 lil pieces i have fat fingers and cant hold them with my shity tweezers so idk whatever looks 100% better then before will post pics tomorrow im tired as shit

You could always do the chrome grill mod and then lay wiremesh behind it and glue it on....

what sucks is that i hate chrome...

I wanna black out the grille and get rid of all the other chrome on the car lol help

thinking about redoing it in the 1/4" chrome, i think these 1/8" is a LITTLE to small for the size of the car. looking for more a park ave ultra look

i havent had to replace ANY since installing them (jun 07'). i wash my car once a week too.

i installed mine 1.5 years ago..have survived a full summer and full winter in pittsburgh... minus 0 all the way up to 100 and all mine have stuck.

Am considering putting this:

Onto the Riv grill. Will buy one from a junkyard, cut off all the teeth and use adhesive after cutting the grill insert to fit on the back of the grill - most likely will have to cut off the R logo for it to work. The inspiration:
