Anyone had issues with freezing when it's reading codes? I can clear the DTCs but not grab them anymore. Can't stand this tuner. Should have gotten HPT but didn't want to deal with the $$$$ involved. Only happens with the Riv and I wonder if that has something to do with it being a 1997.

but THIS I understand completely. Worlds of possibilities open up when you go HPT (my '05 truck, etc etc) that you are locked out of with DHP.

I've never had an issue with DHP software. It's one of the more reliable products I've purchased, even if it doesn't do everything HPT can. And as I've found out recently, those who've spent money on HPT may be regretting it - this product makes your DHP even more powerful than a stand-alone HTP!

I think DHP can actually change the temp at which the PCM looks for knock (some models it's 160* if memory serves) but HPT cannot. But I think that's it. LOL

Whatever the issue was with the code read, I was able to get the code previous to that and edit the tune so that it does not report (code was P0141 rolleyes ). Might be looking at an issue with the front O2 sensor I think. Damnit frown

edit: wait... that looks to be rear O2. that's what i initially thought

DHP can definately change the knock sensor activation temp. If HTP can't do this, I'm really glad I have DHP, lol. That's surprising to me if it's true.
