In case anyone wants to know exactly what the pinout of the OBD2 connector that is on the 95 model, and where those pins lead.

pin 4, circuit 150, Black, Battery Minus
pin 5, circuit 251, Black/White, Battery Minus, tied to engine block
pin 8, circuit 1455, Black/White, RAC Data (keyless entry/locks) Used for programming keyless entry.
pin 9, circuit 800, Tan, Data line, UART, (Connects PCM, DERM, HVAC PROG, RAC, EBCM, Instrument Cluster)
pin 11, circuit 345, White, Power Steering (Connects to one side of the actuator)
pin 14, circuit 835, Dark Green, Data, (Connects to HVAC PROG, HVAC Control, and Radio/CD)

Hopefully this helps someone. And dispels that paper clip idea.
