Well, I noticed my check engine light wasn't illuminating when I turned on the key, so I ripped out my scanner to check it out and low and behold, it was code frenzy 2!

Sucky part is, I just dropped my pan ealier to change my tranny fluid and filter, so those codes can wait a bit.

Also does anybody have a pinout diagram for these? If not I'll buy an Alldata subscription.

consider clearing all the codes then pay attention to the ones that re-set.

Sorry I didn't post sooner. Welcome Brandon! Good to see you working through the kinks and doing a decent resto on this car.

I agree with Albert on the codes.... especially the trans 740. After a fluid change on the trans... see if it acts up. It *should* behave better than previous with just new filter and fluid.

Ok cool. I changed the fluid/filter right before I did this, but when I went to clear the codes, they are still there (Engine off, key on). After clearing them I go back in and they are still there, so I am thinking of pullling the negative on the battery, but I am not sure if there is a LOC code on the radio, is there any easy way of seeing before I pull it?

if the THEFTLOC light is blinking there is a lock code in the radio.

I think elsewhere on this site is a posting about how to get the code if you don't have it.

There was not one set, and the DTCs are now all cleared.
