and did you re-paint the Riviera logo on the pad as well ? If so, how and what did you use.
Actually I replaced it shortly after I got the car in '99 and it hasn't gotten too dirty since, guess I've been lucky. I have been able to clean up the one on the newest Silver Arrow some, just pretty much spraying it with a little higher than hose pressure water. Might try a little cleaner with it next time and see how it comes out?
I painted the lettering with Testors model car paint, the small enamel bottles. I used silver I think and did it with it out of the car, it was tough enough doing it that way so Iím sure it would be a real bitch with it installed!

Randall, I will be sending my car down to you for detailing.
We could make some arrangements. I would have to have them for at least a week each for the ďFULLĒ treatment! Iíll have to say I have washed it three or four times in a two day period before, wash-polish-detail-wash again, over and over until I get it clean enough to my satisfaction!
Several years ago I did pay a place $200 to detail this one Ö did nothing but PISS me off! Iíve never done it since and Iíll never do it again! They made more messes that I ended up having to clean up than anything else!

It's Black, which was kind of why I chose the dash kit I put in, I thought it kind of went good with the color combination.

Thought I'd post a quick up-date ... this is what a Zaino Bros finish turns out like ...

Toying with the computer today, yes I know I should have been working on something, I came up with some interesting views of some pictures I had already posted.

Just thought Iíd share:

The one from above, one of those artsy kind, with a little different effect!

I've heard nothing but good stuff about the Zaino Bros products. My friend used some on his Corvette and it made it look brand new, looks like you had similar results on your car also. Really makes the black look deep, might have to try some of that on mine as well???

Wow, that black one is beautiful!!! Looks like the gray lip is painted tan...that would be a very interesting 2-tone.

On the side, looking back through I found this:

Do you still feel the same way? I'm just curious. I catch myself looking at old posts of mine sometimes and realize I've been constantly changing over time.

agree bow
Zaino Bros stuff is pricey but when done correctly and all the steps complete it does look GOOD! I've seen it done on a few Black cars and like I said "done correctly" it will leave a swirl/streak free finish!

Nope the "lip" is gray, must just be the way the sun is hitting it?

Not so much anymore Ö but I still don't/can't look at your showroom posts, even with a DSL connection the quantity and size of your pictures and stuff just takes too long.

There is just something about the black rivs that look meaner! The chrome 12 spokes look awesome too! Great job keeping it clean!
