after replacing the Rack and Pinion, no controls operate on the steering wheel, and my Airbag light is on. Where do I check for this?

I certainly hope you didn't let the steering wheel turn around too many times! Sounds like you broke the SRS Clockspring...... confused

There are few things in life I'm certain about, and this is one: the steering wheel did not move during this procedure! Other than to unlock it to realign the pinch bolt. One thing that did happen when dropping the subframe, the steering was all the way extended as it was the last thing I disconnected.

Well, the only way for all of those symtoms at once is either the Clockspring became disconnected somehow, or it broke.....Although there IS a 2A fuse at the base of the steering column that could've popped.....
