Error opening .bin file with DHP

I get error #73 when trying to open the file. Says it is an unsupported file type, which makes no sense because it was read with the DHP and saved as a .bin.

This is on a 2001 Regal GS. I'm using the newest version of Powrtuner software. Read the pcm just prior. The read went fine-100% complete.

Has anyone else had a similar issue with Powrtuner software? I'm baffled. Never had this problem.

Well I tried opening it here and had the same message on dhp, tinytuner won't open it either. Oddly enough hptuners opened it fine although I can't edit it of course - Don't have an open license.

I'd probably just try to read again and make sure static voltage on the car is healthy (above 12)

I'll have to wait to read it again because it is balls cold out now. Hope to do it over the weekend.

I have no issues reading and clearing codes with this PCM so I hope it is just a glitch with the first read.

This is odd...

I tried reading it again and got a warning message from the DHP software saying this PCM is not supported by the software. The message went on to say I could try to read it, then save it and email it to DHP to see if they could modify it into a usable file.

Stupid question: did some yahoo already alter this thing with HPT and that automatically lock the PCM?

Could I just re-write this PCM with a 2001 Regal GS .bin so then I could write?
