ROA 2013 Meet

Just wondering who all is going. I'm considering it, but I really don't know what to expect. How many people, what kind of people, etc. Here's a link;

Hmm. That's the closest it's ever been to me. Will depend on my vacation plans, but maybe!

I should be free. it would be sort of in the way if I were to go on vacation. I just don't know if it would be worth the ~$300 for hotel+gas for a 2000 mile trip (Including vacation).

I love how they repped the Gen 8 Rivs. That means we all have to go too. Right?
If I went, it would only be for the Thursday events.

If it weren't 2500mi away I'd be right there! But I'll just have to wait for my local chapter meet up in September I suppose

Its the best Riviera gathering, period!! The ROA is a very friendly group of folks, both young and old. Where else do you get to see over 80 to 100 ONLY Rivieras together at a car show? At the 2010 PA meet there were more eighth generation Rivs than any other generation. The ROA has been in existance since 1984 and run by a most welcoming founder, Ray Knott. You need to join the club and attend at least one meet in your life. Just think, you'll be able to meet me and also Randall (99Rivman)!!!

The only reason I never made it to an ROA meet was the June date. With kids in school and my wife is a teacher we just can't do a June trip.

Great people, if you can do it, definitely go!!!

We have had a couple of successful Southeastern Regionals, but the International Meet is a GREAT time!!!

PA was the largest meet so far ... 144 Rivieras registered, 20+ of them were the 8th generation Riv! This year may be the largest, hopefully anyway.

I will definitely be there, have made my reservation with the hotel but haven’t sent in my registration yet, I haven't decided which Riv I'm taking and/or if I am taking more than one.

its in lexington ky, about 30-40 miles from my house! hope im not off workin somewhere then

I am going to see if I can get Aggie ready for this meet. Should have enough time. Otherwise I'd have to bring her down there in her ghetto ass beat up state and embarrass her in front of the other pretty Rivs. And that's not cool.

But, man, It'd be sweet if we can roll 20+ deep in gen 8 rivs.

Working on getting sufficient funds saved up for this. Goal is to get a MPS before I go, but we'll see.

I'll go to one when it is alot closer to me. Been wanting to for a while, but none of them have been within driving distance for me to want to drive to.

I would really like to go to this one because I'm a UK alum. However, I don't want to put that many miles on my car (4k round trip) and if I fly in, I'll feel like a fish out of water.

If anyone is going that can tune my Riv, I will FOR SURE make the trip!

Well, it's official. As long as I can get off work, I'll be there. Anyone going who can bring a pulley tool and a scanner/tuner? I will gladly make a "donation" to whoever can. Going to order a MPS soon. Now just to decide between ZZP and Intense...........

i have it all in primer, but i have yet to be able to grab a passenger side fender so i beat the old till it was road worthy. ill take some pics tomorrow when im off. im going to go back to original. maybe do the tophalf in black but undecided yet.im in georgia for work right now then at the end of the month its off to dayton ohio for about a week then the list goes on and on. was already told wont be goin home till maybe april lol

You going to shave everything like sqrivi? I think his car in black (even though the blue is great) would look awesome.

im going to do the trunk lid and antanea, but not the door handles. i will be reinforcing them tho ( all it took was one broke one and the wait for a new one to convince me of the need) wish someone could make them in metal lol i do hope to get the bumpers ( at least the rear) sprivi does your guy still have the molds? and will he still do them? or sell the molds? i do fiberglass myself but when the hard works already done... lol
