ROA 2013 Meet

Sweet. Make some BS excuse to finish it earlier. Also, no one has answered my question about anyone being able to bring a tuner or a SC pulley tool. Please? I have no problem "donating" to anyone who can.

Charlie, thats a four and a half hourish drive for us... Not bad at all. Depending on the progress the new Riv makes by then, i would be totally willing to cruise down there

I can't make it anymore, new job and 13 hour drive.... Yeah....

its lookin like i might not either. im off this week and when we go back it looks like balls to the wall 80+ hr weeks till october

If its a 4 1/2 hour drive for you the "show" would be almost over by the time you got there.
Thursday's show starts at 9 AM, then at 12 noon the hoods/trunks are closed for pictures, and it is all over at 2 PM.
I'm sure Dave and I will be out arranging/parking them by 6 AM though!

Then the banquet is at 7 PM, after the 6 PM "Social Hour" that is!

I'll be getting there Sunday the 23rd, and leaving on Friday.


It is too bad for those of you that can't make it, the ROA Meets are a great time!

I'll volunteer for parking duty...but at 6AM??...oh my ackin' back!...

I told Ray that I'd arrive mid-day Sunday to help set up. I'll leave Friday and make an all day stop in Buffalo on Saturday for a BCA regional show.

There is a BCA show in Buffalo this summer? I couldnt find any more info on this. Is there anywhere I can find out more?!

All Buicks are welcome, hosted by the Niagara Frontier Chapter of the Buick Club of America (don't have to be a member to attend), $15 to register. Goodness, I wish I had new paint before this meet so I wouldnt feel so ashamed of the way my girl looks. But I am moving next month and it will be too expensive to move and paint in the same month. Time to start selling drugs or something..

Thanks Dave! The park is about a mile from my house so I will definitely try to make it up and meet some of the local and not so local enthusiasts!

charlie mines in primer! and if im in im still goin! besides if i have the extra to buy the paint and clear i want my guy will paint it for 200!

That's about what time we started in Galena a few years back! I think I parked mine were it was, waaayyy in the back, at 0530!

John told me later that Ray said "why did they start so far back", and then we ended up having "just" enough room when we parked the last '63!


We have started that early most of the years I've been doing it anyway?

A friend from SC is coming up with an extra driver, the wife won't drive the 400+ miles, so I'm taking the White '93 and the Black '95 this year. It was interesting getting more than one cleaned/detailed the last time we took two, but I figured with it this close we'll give it a try.

I'll just have to be sure the wife stays busy!

I remember Galena and also Lancaster...up before the birds we were! I'm actually OK with the time as it is for the benefit of OUR club. Sounds like we're going to have a few 7th generation Riv's...your 93, Ed Raner's 93, Marty Hillman's 92, my 92, and possibly more.

I'll bet more, a couple of weeks ago I got some "inside" info, we were at 99 Rivs and over 250 members/guests, and the registrations were still coming in "fast"!

Should be the largest meet ever!
