| I don't know what you are referring to. Wastegates are a component of a turbocharcher. It's the valve that moves the exhaust gasses away from the turbine side. It basically stabilizes boost pressure on a turbocharged application. do you mean the boost bybass valve (the black cylinder on top of the engine) ? | |

| There are no aftermarket bypass valves for our cars. There is no need because of how our roots type blower works. It won't give you that sound that turbo's give you. _________________ 1998 Supercharged Riviera - Custom CAI, Alpine spx-13ref, Infinity 6x9's, Alpine 4 Channel Amp, Kicker KX3, Silverstars, STB, Hawk Brake Pads, Monroe Air Shocks, KYB GR2

| ah it's called a bypass valve, yeah, the little circular part that opens right below the blower, was just asking because a friend of mine said if you can open it up more, you'd increase boost, but I guess he was talking about a wastegate | |

| In the thread Aaron posted, the hesitation I was talking about was caused by bad plug wires. It cleared up after a tune up. I do get easier wheel spin with the mod though.
Is it worth it? It's up to you...it's a 30 second mod. If you don't like it, change it back. Just remember to mark the initial location so you know your starting reference.
