| Hard to believe it would hit higher PSI doing that. | Maybe it's not all the way closed when it works on its own? _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| i was expecting to see a boost spike when I let off from WOT but not at all. I'm going to experiment further. I have a boost controller i'm going to hook up and see if it'll spit out at 8psi or so.
the only thing is that there's a second variable. When i moved the rubber vac fitting from the vacuum port cluster on the top of the blower, it just fell apart in my fingers. (really old and brittle) so i have to replace that. At the time of the video I had the resulting vacuum leak plugged off and the fuel reg was delivering non-vacuum-controlled press. (at WOT, that should make no difference at all) | |

| I would not continue to do that, If at WOT you car goes to lean the car will open the bypass to dump boost. If you leave it on you risk damaging the engine. | |

| Defenatly not a good idea without a scan tool. I've had a similar mod done to my car for the last year or so, and I have to keep a sharp eye on my KR as the weather changes. The boost comes on a lot faster with the bypass blocked, but the PCM doesn't enrich the fuel fast enough to prevent detonation. If you BBV is working properly, you will not see anymore boost with it blocked open. Also, messing around like that with the FPR unhooked is just asking for a blown piston. IIRC it responds to Boost Pressure, as well as vacuum.
