Hey all, I was trying to find replacement belt weatherstrips for my '98 Riv, but I can't seem to find any aftermarket much less OEM replacement.

The felt is worn on the drivers side. It curled under starting from the back of the interior strip when rolling down the window, I cut out some of it to keep it from curling under but that's obviously a kludge fix. On the passenger's side I think it may be just dirty but I figured I'd replace all four strips if I can find replacements.

Any known sources of these strips or ways to, erm, 'refelt' them?

Not sure what you are talking about here? headbutt

If you are talking about the trim on the door it is part of the interior panel, I do not believe it is listed separately anywhere? If that is not what you are referring to let us know?

I take it you are referring to the inner and outer belt weatherstrips. According to my collision estimating software, part # and prices are;

part #12535567 door inner belt molding- $11.01 same left and right

part #25641881 right door outer belt molding $73.57

part #25641882 left door outer belt molding $73.57

or part #25633170 right door inner weatherstrip $77.04

part #25633171 left door inner weatherstrip $74.60

I am not sure of the accuracy of these part #s or prices but any GM dealer should be able to use them as a reference. Call for availability also.

@99Rivman. Sorry, I've had trouble finding out the correct name of the parts since they seem to go by different names. I think bigdave has it right though with the inner weatherstrips and outer belt molding.

What I am talking about is the inner and outer rubber strips that sort of squeegee the windows when they get rolled up and down.

@bigdave, Thank you! I was having trouble deciphering what part was what and the part #s help a lot. I think I found a couple based on those parts #s.
