just signed up here and saying hello. Finally picked a 99 up after waiting many years. In 95 a new car was being bought, was between a 95 Riv and a 95 2 door Eldorado, female picked the caddy. But nowadays I pick my toys. Picked a 99 white one up to go with the other toys. Hope to be picking many brains as it needs some minor tinkering. But first off to hit the search function.

Welcome aboard! Yes, definitely--white is right!

I was nearly seduced by the Eldo as well. They're really nice, but given the Northstar's issues, I'm glad I got the Riv.

Welcome aboard. I'm currently down to one Eldo...a 2000...but had a 1999 at the same time until I sold it last month. I've owned a 1996 and a 1997 Rivi at the same time but they were sold awhile back and now own a 1992 Rivi and a 1991 Reatta. Continual re-engineering of the northstar resolved its problems by 1999. I've never had a bit of trouble with the two of mine. By the way, I just picked up a 2010 Lincoln MKZ with 22k miles...still evaluating it but so far so good....will be our daily driver.
